PETG no. ABS has a higger glass transition temperature and may survive. Try PC especially if you're making a thin mesh.

PETG being supported by the plastic grate at the bottom of the utensil tray will be fine even if it gets to a temperature that slightly softens the PETG. These are the only two possibilities I see as being likely with PETG: - The PETG is perfectly unscathed - The PETG becomes slightly deformed but still in one piece at the bottom of the utensil holder because the grid at the bottom of the utensil holder stopped it from deforming more. If you go with ABS then the temperature definitely won't be a problem.
