Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I have a foil box off Amazon with a fan and 3 layer filter. It helps with drafts and ambient temp control. Idk how much the filter actually does but if nothing else I can tell a difference in smell

Creality PETG is still very stringy after drying, compared to other brands - Does anyone else find PETG from Creality to be extra stringy? I dried a new roll overnight AND continued drying while printing. Yet it still had lots of stringing. I have been using Hatchbox PETG for years, but it wasn't in-stock at Amazon so I tried out Creality's PETG, which is almost half the price. Using the same print profile, Creality's PETG is muuuuch more stringy than Hatchbox or Prusa filament. I used the same workflow that typically producing very little to no stringing, even on complex parts. I have another roll of Creality PETG new in box that I think is going to get returned...

There are 3 main sources that tend to hit $6/kg about once a quarter (next one is probably black friday). ebay- kingroon or jayo tend to always have buy 10 for the price of 6 or similar deals for volume. If you look at their per roll price there it tends to look high lets say $13/roll (they fudge the numbers and change them all the time). So they give you 40% off this fake number so instead of $130 it'll be $78 ($7.80/roll). Ebay also has their quarterly deals usually something like 20% off so that takes the $78 down to $62 ($6.20/roll). Amazon haul- similar structure to the above eBay way. They tend to twice a year or so throw a high percent off all amazon haul items. These won't be limited to Jayo or Kingroon but will be random (esun, sunlu, etc). Same concept though the manufacturer already marked down their overstock to cheaper on haul and then Amazon throws some money in too. When they last did this in the spring, I got a decent amount of stuff for $5/kg Aliexpress- the more straightforward way. Kingroon and Jayo are often on there for $60-70 for 10 rolls. If you wait for when Aliexpress throws some coupons in over the top then you can get them down to about $6.50/roll. Not quite as cheap as eBay or haul but more consistent if you run out of filament at a random time. Hope that makes sense basically the generic filament is already cheap ($8ish/roll) and then those 3 platforms throw additional discounts over the top.

What are good price points for generic brand filament in various materials? - For basic stuff (PLA/PETG) I know around $6/kg is usually when I pull the trigger every few months or so for basic colors. Fancy colors (tri-silk, wood, etc.) I generally wait until around $10/kg. That being said I'm starting to print more often with other stuff (TPU, PEBA, etc.) and those prices tend to be all over the map. What is a good generic price for each of the filament types (ABS/TPU/ASA etc.)? I would assume the methods of achieving that best generic price is about the same. For me that's usually a partial vendor sale plus a storefront sale (ie. Jayo or kingroon sale on ebay happening the same time as an ebay 20% sale, or similar with amazon haul or aliexpress). Usually buying in volume helps as well (5 or 10 rolls at once). Mostly interested in just the generics since for me they tend to print fine. I will admit there is a slight bump up in the name brands but never enough to justify double the cost.

I am indeed in the states - I suppose a bit of the issue is that I’m something of a novice when it comes to looking into circuitboards (confident using, but the actual mechanics are a bit mystifying to me), and the hobby has advanced so much since I was last buying hardware. So (to reiterate and make sure I’m looking in the right directions) - generic board from Amazon/Ebay; specifically looking to Klipper & BigTreeTech?
