Ball bearings plus some sort of epoxy would be my best idea, but I have no actual experience doing that. There's definitely problems with that, you'd need to sort out lots of stuff but in theory it's possible

Best food-safe spray coating for an eating utensil? - I 3D-printed an eating utensil that would only be used occasionally, probably once a month or less. I know food and liquid can get into the layer lines of FDM prints, so I'm specifically looking for some type of coating that will completely seal the surface. Is there a food-safe spray coating that would fill/seal the layer lines, leave a smooth non-porous surface, and hold up to occasional hand washing? It would also need to be safe for direct food contact and putting in your mouth. I'd prefer a spray rather than a brush-on epoxy if possible. I can print it in PLA, PETG, or ABS, so I'm open to whichever filament works best with the coating. Has anyone actually done something like this? If so, what product did you use, and how has it held up?
