   if you've never used any cad or 3d modeling software and just want to get this done, go with tinkercad if you have plans on doing some way more elaborate designs in the near future, you could invest into learning other, more complicated software, like fusion360 but this design you'll be able to bang out in a couple minutes without watching hours of tutorials

   Fusion360 is the industry standard, but it's pretty cumbersome for hobbyists. It's also designed to push you towards a paid subscription and enterprise use, so you're going to be fighting against that pretty regularly if you try to use it as a free program. For instance, when you save a model it always wants you to save to their proprietary cloud and you have to jump through a couple hoops to export the file as a 3D model that you can dump into a slicer. Not a deal breaker, just irritating. FreeCAD is the open-source direct alternative to Fusion360. It's the Blender of CAD software. I don't think the learning curve is any steeper than Fusion360; they both feel very wonky if you've never used CAD software before and aren't familiar with the conventions. Being open source, it's also bound to only ever get better over time and you'll never be bound to some big corporation who wants rights to your work. Blender is also free, but not intended for 3D printing. You can make it work, but it would be a challenge. Blender *would* be good (ideal, really) if you were trying to do detailed, organic sculpts to make resin prints. Blender is made for video game assets, not 3D prints. There's also Plasticity, which is free for 30 days and then has a one-time paid license. If you've used art software before, Plasticity is going to feel much more intuitive. It's also going to be faster, but if you need to make changes later it's going to be a slog. For your use case, I would go with FreeCAD. You need mechanical precision and you're going to need to iterate until it's correct.

   Fusion360. You'll pick it up quicker. It has a huge knowledge base on YouTube and reddit and your designs are your own. That last one matters. On shape = ::yoink:: thank you for your stuff

   Freecad. Its pretty good by now. Fusion360 has a free version with some limitations, but its enough for simple models.

   Sujest any usefull stuf that i can design to print (if can can do it i'll send it to you) - I'm learning how to use fusion360. beginer-ish level but i don't know what to design
