Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I've even been correcting the permissions structure of the linux image and adding my own klipper screen move screen that, imho, looks waaaaay better than default, and a backup/restore program that backs up more than just the printer.cfg (the entire system really) also accessible from Klipper Screen.

Similar experience on IRC in the early 2000s. I got a LiveCD of Ubuntu at a convention and wanted to learn Linux. I’d have issues with setting it up on my ancient hardware and I’d just be told to RTFM. I’m now a grumpy old Linux sysadmin and I kind of understand where those people were coming from because I was asking questions that I didn’t have the prerequisite knowledge behind, but no one was directing me to the resources I needed to understand what I was looking at. I don’t hang out in the spaces where people ask questions like this as much anymore, but when I do see it, I try to help where I can and just shut up when I don’t have the mental energy to help, instead of being a smug asshole like those guys were. lol

Slicer for Elegoo Neptune 4 - While waiting on my printer to arrive, I am getting everything ready. Building my table for it, organizing things, deciding how and where I am going to store supplies, and designing my first print. I am wondering what slicer Elegoo recommends for their printers (assuming their own? SatelLite?) and what y'all recommend. My brother has a Neptune 3 from many years ago, as well as an Elegoo resin printer, and he uses chitubox. My friend with a Bambu printer uses Orca. I have read many different things about many slicers, and it seems opinions are as varied there as there are with everything else. Preferences: 1) do not want to bounce around - want to stick to one. Really don't want to get used to one slicer and switch to another, though that will probably happen anyway 2) open-source and well-supported 3) able to "auto" add supports for a build (as much as that is possible anyway) 4) able to add/adjust STL's easily \- For context, the first build I am working on is a storage and charging station for my tool batteries to sit on top of my tool chest. This will require being able to add joinery (c-joints?) to the two halves so I can put it together after the print. 5) cross-platform (web, Android, iOS, Linux, Windows, Mac...) as much as possible

Many of our customers use Preform via Wine on Linux. It's free to download. Give it a try before you consider buying/not buying?

FYI: You can run FormLabs' PreForm under Linux - For everybody currently looking at the FormStudio 1 while using Linux: With a bit of effort, I managed to get PreForm running under Linux using wine. Adding models and slicing them works, I do not yet know whether printer communication works. I wrote a small guide here:
