   FreeCAD, and have an LLM do the initial design work if you don't want to to deal with the initial learning curve. I've done GPT -> Python script -> FreeCAD -> STL for a few basic things and it's worked like a charm.

Have a script do this in an endless loop. Then all you need to do is load the filament, remove the rubbish from the print sheet, and press "ready". Then you can report to your boss how many unique designs you tested. Your productivity is up several hundred times!

   That LLM also works with FreeCAD which is why I have a paid subscription for it. It can do some fine work using both.

   I think LLM has its place. I do think people have a wrong interpretation of what AI really is though. Its not an answer, more of a sound board. 90% of what it says is crap but it can help you spot things you may have over looked, especially when you been grinding at a project non stop.

   He was downvoted because the statement is false. LLM's are garbage at RE, still. I mean, yeah, there's also the general hatred of AI, but the fact that the statement is incorrect doesn't help it.
