Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Problem is MakerWorld sucks for appeals. May or may not be in compliance legally, but if the new upload gets reported, they’ll take it down again. I had a remix of a thingiverse item on makerworld, properly linked, attributed, etc. was up for over a year, suddenly taken down as “license doesn’t permit remixes”; but it did, author obviously changed it. Wayback Machine had a snapshot of the previous license showing it did allow remixes back then, didn’t help, appeal denied.

Stop participating on Makerworld! Printables is much more fair.

Mostly users don’t understand they can download actual models. By selecting download CAD files. That being said I prefer 3MF’s to STL’s so never upload them as they become too large when trying to maximize detail. I just wish printables would have a better reward system my “prusameter” hasn’t changed in years and my stuff gets a fair amount of downloads. That being said makerworld is flooded with tchotchke garbage…

I wanna say I am surprised by the stupidity of this decision. But then again they always were douchebags at Makerworld.
