    I would try Isopropanol (IPA), it has been working for me on basically any filament leftover. In a bathroom with ventilation on, or near an open window, cover the plate with IPA. Best is to immerse it in a large footprint, shallow dish (glass, plastic, metal). Leave it in for a few minutes covered and try scratching the leftover off with a plastic scraper. You will see immediately if the IPA penetrated under the leftover filament. I would scrape off as much as possible and follow up with a regular plate cleaning (dish soap, gentle non-metal scrub, plenty of warm water rinse). I also use IPA wipe/rinse after the water rinse, bot that is optional. Dry the plate and inspect it. If the PEI layer seems damaged, replacement is the best option. If intact, adjust the z-offset, print a square that covers the entire used surface of the plate, at least 1mm thick. Let it cool to room temperature after the print, do no try to remove the square while still warm. This should remove all rest leftover filament and you are good to go. Good luck!

    Yes, there is a ways to recycle, but most likely they will not be practical for you. Buy small CNC, cut wooden and metal parts.

    Your support looks nice and functional, but for that kind of shape must be made of metal, it is not suitable for 3D printing.
