Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Getting access to the standards to read them is controlled. But that doesn't preclude you from creating a FOSS design that complies with their standards. At worst, it would be another expense for teams like Voron and RepRap - like a CAD license. But, frankly, unless the criminalize non-compliance, only the major FOSS printers will even bother considering to comply with any ASTM standards, and only to keep their kit partners (like LDO and Fystec) happy, since I would bet that you couldn't sell kits that didn't comply. But if a FOSS printer basically just provides the CAD data, parts lists, and software, they aren't selling anything; the law would be toothless unless they make *possession* of non-compliant printer illegal.

Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra - Vertical Print bands - I've been printing on my Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra recently and am a long-time FDM printer and new coming SLA printer. Green lines are to indicate the layer direction, so those vertical bands are not layer lines. At first it looks like Z banding but it might not be as the lines are vertical? I keep finding when I look up the symptoms and was wondering if someone knew by vision what it was? So I printed this model flat. The vertical direction is somehow being produced. Any help will be great! Thank you. \* What printer are you using? Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra \* What material are you using and temps? Siraya Tech - Obsidian Black \* What speed are you printing at? 50um mode Anti aliasing ON (smooth mode) \- radius 2% \- gray offset 30% High definition Anti Aliasing ON \* What software are you using to slice the print and control the printer? That’s all the info I’ve gathered about it, that it’s a dicom, it’s through the software PureView if that makes a difference.

Note that ASTM considers their standards to be controlled intellectual property which is potentially incompatible with open source machines and software.

Exactly. For 12 years, not a single handgun was added to California’s “safe handgun roster” because their lawmakers determined that microstamping was a “feasible technology” due to one single company saying they could theoretically do such a thing. It took that long to strike down the microstamping requirement, and the exact same thing can happen to 3D printers. All it takes is some random company saying “yes we could maybe do it” for California to determine it be feasible and ban 3D printers unless they used that theoretical software.
