I’ve invested for friends in small amounts, hundreds or less than $1000. That was my limit and it always turned out fine. Even if it dropped, they understood. But no one here answered her question about ByBit.

He's taken your money to gamble with. (My friend did that to me once). He most probably lost all of it by now. ByBit is a 'leveraged exchange' - allowing you to use leverage to place bets. If the bet goes wrong, you lost it all. He probably lost it all. If it doesn't go wrong, you get your money back, he takes the profit off your money. This friend is a narcissist asshole and losing that money + this friend is the best thing that can happen to you in the long-term.
