Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Well the fact that I check Bitcoin mining operations and they are beyond ANY hash rate ever recorded and still going higher... Tells me Bitcoin will continue to o increase in price

Third largest mining nation by hashrate moving to 0% capital gains tax and monetizing stranded gas for mining. The data speaks for itself. Whether it is ideological or opportunistic is irrelevant - the incentive structure is what matters, and this one is strongly pro-Bitcoin.

Well. I too knew I wanted to build on Bitcoin. Was not sure exactly what for a long time. The way I started was running a full verification Bitcoin node. Attaching my wallet to it. Using it to track and verify all of my transactions. Then I began building customized monitoring tools on it. Tracking the details that mattered to me. Block height, hash rate, mempool fees, time between blocks, txs per block, max size txs, etc. with each monitoring tool my knowledge grew. Then I established a Lightning node. Opened channels. Rebalanced. Built more monitoring tools. Grew my knowledge. After months of learning every nuance I could, reading, monitoring, an idea hit me. Not ready to disclose it yet. But it feels important. This path is what I would recommend. Run a Bitcoin and Lightning node. Learn the protocol. Study it. Find a way to build value on top of it.

> It would only focus the anti bip fire on them. What is this nonsense? How would "anti bip fire" disrupt a miner's operations in any way? You think hashrate gives a fuck about people crying on social media?

Yeah, that was my question too. It seems they took a retrospective snapshot of hashrate for weighting purposes but it isn't clear what the plan is at mandatory signalling block height. I feel like they will basically have a way for existing accounts to vote before signalling begins and then signal or not based on the outcome of that vote. One way or the other they make no claim about actually mining BIP110 compliant blocks. Interesting take on the dynamics around signalling:
