Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

what's wild is miner support has sat under 1% this whole time and it's still heading toward a forced deadline cuz of how uasf works, nodes dont need miners on board

Bip110 will get a tiny bit of the global hash rate and the regards will be crying because once their nodes start rejecting blocks, their shorter chain will get ignored. Some of them decide to create a shitcoin that will eventually die like all the Bitcoin forks before.

Well to be fair my node just updated last night and the latest update says it’s now signalling. So I just wanted to clarify a few things . But thanks for the info 👍

> If nothing happens and the softfork didn't go through, it means that bitcoin is successfully captured by corporations, big miners, and governments can easily control it and change the rules at any time by pressuring them. I think the opposite is the case: if that softfork can be pushed through by an absolute minority (1% of miners, about 5%-20% of nodes), it'd mean that bitcoin failed to be decentralized and robust against protocol changes by a minority.

well, most likely nothing will happen to those with bitcoin already. life will go on as usual. also, any bitcoin transactions you make after august 8th are still going to work regardless of what nodes are running, like it's still the same bitcoin. so, for an average bitcoin user, after august 8th, in the worst case scenario, when you send bitcoin to someone, you can only include 83 characters(previously 83, then it was 100000, and now again 83) of text when you send bitcoin, unless you go to miners and ask them to include longer messages. there are also these taproot scripts that some people use could be affected by BIP110, but I let those guys explain themselves how it affects them as I have no understanding of those.
