it's still being discussed. Die Linke made a proposal that didn't get a majority. Die Grünen did the same. The next proposal is from the SPD, who unfortunately is part of the governing coalition, putting the MPs of the other governing party CDU into the uncomfortable position to either vote "with the coalition" or follow their conscience.

Yes it does. That is the entire point. It takes "voting" power away from the miners and randomly chooses nodes that are more likely to be run by individuals with little resources. At a fundamental level, this prevents centralization about as much as can be with current technology. What about the proposal doesn't deal with centralizaton better than the current model?

Bro take a deep breath... the dutch government has been "about to fix box 3" for like five years straight now. Every single proposal they draft gets delayed or struck down by the supreme court anyway. Selling your entire stack right now before anything is even officially signed into law is wild... if the mortgage is stressing you out that bad, just take a tiny bit of profit to have a cash cushion, dont panic dump the whole coin.
