Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

that's exactly the trap though, the few thousand in actual money is what you use to live day to day while your investments just sitting there locked up. most people don't have enough extra to invest big amounts so they feel inflation on groceries, rent, gas every week the real estate and stocks thing is kinda proving the point, nobody wants to hold the cash because they know it melts, so they forced to play the investment game just to not fall behind

Reading the comment about that you can't buy bread with precious metals kind of made me thought a little bit. What is Matthew trying to have us think here That for some reason precious metals are bad. I would dare to say that you could exchange precious metals for the coin of the realm or if in Matthew's view the only thing available is Bitcoin and then you could easily go buy your bread. There's always an exchange rate. But I do agree it would be pretty difficult to exchange real estate for bread.

People who say this is so weird.. Because you cant pay your bills or buy groceries in BTC? Just because you own a lot of gold or stocks or real estate to combat inflation/capitalism doesnt mean that you can pay for shit with assets lol…

  4. Comment

We are exiting the voluntary adoption phase of Bitcoin and are entering the involuntary phase where Bitcoin will be one of the only viable safe havens. Sure precious metals and real estate are too, but you cannot buy bread with them.

having your money in real estate, metals, or other real equity is also a solution
