Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

What will happen is that the bip-110 nodes will sit with a practically dead chain with very very slow confirmation rate. They do not have sufficient miner support to perform a hard fork, or to have any noticeable impact on the majority of the miners. With current confirmed hash rate a bip-110 fork would require 9 years before the difficulty adjusts and confirmation rate normalize. As soon as the first "incompatible" block is mined the battle is over. And most who today signal their support will quicky jump ship in defeat. The ideas will likely be resurrected. And many nodes will likely continue to filter relayed transactions. Hopefully it will trigger some meaningful discussions returning focus on relay policy instead of trying to meas with the concensus rules.

Retail drives short-term price. Institutions drive long-term structure. ETF inflows, exchange reserve drawdowns, corporate treasury allocations — that's not retail. That's capital moving off exchanges into long-term custody. Retail sets the price today. Institutions determine where it goes over the next cycle.

At the rate of inflation we’ll see if “millionaire” represents the level of wealth we perceive it to be today lol

I agree, that economic growth will be smaller, since people can postpone spending until they really need things, but exponential growth isn't sustainable from today's level. We need slow down growth substantially if mankind wants to survive another 200 years.

He would have been way better off that way. Now he’s paying interest on loans he took out to buy BTC at about double its at today. He lost 50% and is paying interest on top of it. Double whammy.
