   I only did a brief scrolling through the charts but I think 1971 was not the cause but a symptom of what had been happening. It's not just that the dollar was fiat but also that the USA was no longer experiencing explosive growth beyond what other countries were doing while they rebuilt after the worst war the world has ever seen. You're not going to grow at this rates forever and it's naive to point at the peak of our wage growth and make it seem like it should have continued forever. Wealth in a fiat world is all about doing better than others. There was a time when America was doing better than the world and now it's more about how much better you do than workers in other industries with that international advantage gone. The only wealth we still retain is the ability to buy lots of stuff and labor from international sources due to their existing poverty, but trade barriers, especially recent ones have been crushing that wealth. Americans feel it for a reason; you're not so rich anymore with these policies and when the world does fully catch up to us, you won't be rich at all, just average, unless you can find ways to do better in productivity and beat them.

   probably the bitcoin knots BIP110 / bitcoin core drama. I'll try to explain it as best as I can from the information that I have personally gathered, that some people will most likely disagree with: there's two groups at war right now. the first group supports bitcoin as a monetary network, and wants to limit other people from using bitcoin as a cloud storage network by introducing a soft fork called BIP 110. the second group thinks, that bitcoin should support scripts, images and other non-monetary data on the blockchain. from my understanding, BIP110 will not completely remove the ability to use said previous features, but it will make it way more difficult, as you'd have to go directly to the miners if you want to include large non-monetary data with your bitcoin transactions. without going into details as to which one you should choose, I personally have chosen to support bitcoin knots and BIP110, because I like bitcoin as money, and I don't want to host non-monetary data on my own bitcoin node. but that is just my own personal choice, and you can make up your mind on which side you want to support. I have done a lot research on this subject for some weeks now, and it still is extremely complicated and you shouldn't feel ashamed if you don't get it, because it can be very difficult to decide who is right and who is wrong. but this war might come to an end on august 8th, when BIP110 will activate, and we will see if it can limit non-monetary data, or if it will do nothing at all. and yes, this war is absolutely affecting the price of bitcoin, and nobody knows what will happen. you can buy bitcoin now and gamble, or wait after august 8th, but I'm fairly certain that we are going to see a massive swing in bitcoins price for one way or another after august 8th.

   1)Not rly backed by anything but its secure due to the ability for anyone to run a ledger (btc node) to verify the chain, you cant "lie" basically its hard to explain but yt vids will do it for u. Its value is purely supply and demand theres limited supply but its a secure soruce of money with no central command which makes it appealing to people as a store of value. Its written in the code the max able to be created is 21mil, mining it requires a lot of electricty with mining rewards shrinking overtime untill in 2140 there will be no more btc created and mining will only generate profit thru tx fees. 2) Technically they could do that but they would have to turn of electricity and free software to do so, that also applies to metals tho as ur limited by how much u can carry and if they metal detetc u or smth. If every btc node and miner does turn off it will be "paused" as is so no ones btc will be lost/changed when it goes back online. 3) I like gold and silver, Gold is gods money and would be useful if society goes bad and theres wars or an apocolyse wheras btc is "the peoples" money as there no gov/centralsied control and I think its the money of the future if humans continue to adv as species. 4) Havnt read it so ye

   Changed it from anyone to any government. Still, never understood that narrative that Bitcoin could stop wars or stop money printing. Even with Master degree in finance, I still don't get it.
