If the cleanup is a problem, I would recomend switching to an Aeropress. You can pick them up cheaply, they get better results quicker and the cleanup is the easiest of all methods I've used.

The life hack for this is: Get an Aeropress and just pop the puck into the garbage.

What I normally did was make French press normally, then used a mesh strainer in the sink to rinse the grounds out of the press itself. Once the grounds dry out you can tap them into your trash! That said, I eventually moved to Aeropress and it's way less hassle

I'm looking for a single-cup brewer that I can set up in the evening and have a hot cup waiting for me when I roll out of bed the next morning. I have a Timemore Chestnut C2 grinder and an Aeropress that both are great, but I want something more automatic than the Aeropress. Something like a Keurig, but not shitty.
