Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

We had a glass French press, it broke. Got a cheap stainless insulated one on Amazon and an oxo burr grinder and we're very happy.

I have several. The stainless steel double walled press is the best. Used be sold by Starbucks but now available on Amazon.

Im late, but ill chime in since i french press most days. Grind the coffee as course as you dare. Your brew window is 4-6 minutes. Can go as high as 10 minutes for some beans. Press very slowly or dont press at all and just pour through the filter. Don't let the coffee sit in the press, pour it into a carafe. I like a 1:17 ratio. Grind size is the biggest component. Water should be 190-200 degree if you can measure temp. If not make sure the water is not still boiling when you pour. Honestly, I can't get the grind course enough on my cheap amazon flat burr grinder. I have a hario hand grinder set almost as course as it can go that i use for french press. I also sift the grounds in a flour sifter to remove fines. Sifting is not necessary, but it does noticeably improve the taste. Finally, some beans are more forgiving for pourover, some are more forgiving for french press. You'll need to experiment.

Buy a food scale, you can get super cheap rechargeable ones on Amazon. Then you can start trying recipes you find online. Usually recipes are around 16:1 ratio by weight of water to coffee

Believe it or not, Makita (the company that makes power tools) makes a handy portable drip coffee maker. It runs off of standard rechargeable Makita batteries. I believe it can plug into the wall but that might require a separate AC adapter. It's a little pricey... Like $170 without the battery. There are plenty of portable solutions that don't have their own heating element, like the Aeropress, of course. You'd need a separate kettle for that. But there are collapsible silicone-walled kettles on Amazon for pretty cheap. So the actual footprint of the whole setup is surprisingly small. Some people just tote their Aeropress + ground coffee + a stanley/thermos of hot water. If you're using a darker roasted coffee you can brew a pretty good cup even with water that's like 180F, so that's totally viable.
