A stainless steel french press will last you for life. I've had mine for over a decade and while I've broken multiple glass carafes and a couple of Chemex in that time, the mighty Press remains. And you can make super delicious coffee with them if you use good coffee and follow a recipe.

I alternate between my aeropress and pour over drippers (I have a switch and a Chemex funnex) I’m pretty happy and don’t need to explore much more. I have a Moka I use now and then too. Maybe I’ll get a smaller one, could also maybe get a bigger Chemex one day if I ever have a need to brew bigger batches but otherwise pretty content. The idea of a Flair or La Pavoni does intrigue me and if I ever have the money and time to spare, I’d get one out of curiosity. Damn it, I guess the answer to your question is no lol.

Ok, like, at home I have a very nice grinder, a chemex, an aeropress, a French press, whatever I’m feeling that day. At work? I drink the office coffee or pick one up from a shop.

We have Keurig coffee at my office. It’s shit quality but I tried to introduce the Chemex and even brought my espresso machine (BBE) in for a while and they just don’t care. I gave up and now drink terrible coffee at work so that I can appreciate the great coffee I have at home.

I started drinking coffee regularly about a year ago, used a chemex, and drank primarily medium roasts. Early on, I got heavy peanut notes. I wasn't drinking flavored coffee, and it didn't matter what brand i was drinking. Every single time, peanuts. I really liked it, but I can't seem to replicate it. Any ideas what it could be?
