   It sounds like you've already described it pretty well. You like full bodied and balanced coffee. Here's the thing about coffee origin. It's not what most people make it out to be. Beans from the very same farm may end up being quite different because of growing conditions that affected that particular harvest. Beans from adjacent farms can end up being far more different due to everything from local differences in soil content to different farming techniques yielding different results. And that doesn't even begin to account for the differences that arise from the same beans being roasted by one roastery or another. While there are some qualities that can be generally true of certain areas, I suspect you're looking for the kind of nail-on-the-head detail that is routinely affected by a great many factors. If you like full bodied and balanced coffees, then I would suggest that you generally look in the area of medium to darker roasts, and avoid single origin. Often times the best way to achieve balance is by blending beans. Same principle applies with win, BTW, which is why wine from places like Italy and France are more often identified regionally. They're usually blends of multiple kinds of grape. Just a quick note, though. You said you like balanced coffees. But then you suggested that maybe you like low acidity coffees. This would be a contradictory suggestion. Balanced coffees have both acidity and bitterness, it's just that neither overpowers the other. A low acid coffee will run on the bitter side. This is how blending coffee beans becomes beneficial, and why a blended coffee is perhaps the best showcase of a roastery's skills.

   So far in my french press adventures - IKEA's UPPHETTA was the cheap gateway towards a different way of brewing my coffee. When it breaks = crossroads of if I spend another 15 USD for another or upgrade.

   Generic all stainless steel 34 ounce French press. 4 tablespoons medium ground coffee into pot, boil water, let it go still, add water to pot until at fill line attempting to submerge grounds with the pour, stir until all grounds are wet and the froth gathers in the center and the spoon can be pulled up the side avoiding the froth and grounds yielding a nearly clean spoon. Cap with the top facing the open side to the spout. 2.5 minutes. Press, pour into two travel mugs or three large coffee cups.

   If speed is the main goal, a pod machine will be faster and easier than an espresso setup. A good espresso machine can make better coffee, but there’s a learning curve. If you really want espresso drinks like lattes/cappuccinos/americanos, then an espresso machine makes more sense here. Since you already enjoy French press, you might actually like a good drip machine or AeroPress as a faster weekday option since you will keep more of the flavor you enjoy without adding the workflow of espresso. If convenience is key, stay simple and go pods. My wife and I have a single serve ninja machine for convenience if we don't have time to do our usual coffee routine in the morning. It allows pods and grounds, not a bad deal for it either. Got it for like $90 on tiktok shop months back.

   Hi ! I make coffee with a french press and I'd like to buy a coffee machine to complete it. I love my french press but sometimes it takes to much time the morning before leaving for work. I hesitate between a coffee machine with pods (like nespresso one's) and an espresso machine. I know coffee is better with the espresso one but I'm not sure it will be faster to use than my press. Do you guy have any recommandation ?
