Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I've had the 30 oz Bodum stainless steel French press for about 10+years. I think it's called the Columbia. It's my camping coffeemaker, so I have straight up abused that thing. I'm talking days of rolling around at the bottom of a canoe. Probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. The Plunger is unique because it has a gasket instead of just wire. But it's held up great and works great. The double wall does insulated better than a glass French press. But only long enough to pour a second cup.

Why do store bought cold brew coffees and concentrates all have a certain “nutty” flavor, even if advertised as simple black coffee? My afternoon sip is usually a Starbucks or McDonald’s iced or cold-brew coffee (or iced americano), black, on ice. Tastes like coffee! I just like cold, black brew. When I buy premade cold brews and concentrates (Stok, Starbucks, pretty much every other brand I’ve tried), there’s a musty/nutty aftertaste that I absolutely hate. Even if the ingredients list just shows coffee and water. Drives me nuts that I’m paying Starbucks and McDonalds $3-$5 a day for something I probably should be able to buy cheaper in bulk.

Brew a bigger pot, really. But I'd advise against keeping it for more than a day - so you could do two days' worth, but I wouldn't go past that. Flavour will fall off much faster in brewed coffee than in ground or whole bean, so that may impact how much you enjoy the coffee on the second day. Or might not, you'd have to test and see. That said, you're probably going to find you're using about the same amount of beans to make a double pot as making a single. Making a bigger pot with less coffee means a weaker, more diluted, pot of coffee.

I've never felt ridiculous hand grinding my coffee at work, I did it for over 4 years. It's also not very loud compared to an electronic grinder. In fact, for me hand grinding my coffee has always been a conversation starter, other people always ask about it, and that tends to start a continued conversation. And hand grinding coffee keeps me in the kitchen longer than I usually would be, so it gives me more chances for social situations than I normally would from otherwise sitting at my desk. Heck, I've made numerous friends at work from them bumping into me while I've been hand grinding my coffee. But maybe your work folk are less interested, idk. How hot is the water from the coffee machine? If it's at least 170-180F, that's good enough for me. Worst case you can microwave water, just be very careful. Heck, ask if your office is willing to provide or make space for a permanent counter top electric water heater; my last hole in the wall startup had one, can buy for a out or less than $100 I think and provides hot water for people to have tea or coffee through the day, and people just have to top it off with water occasionally for it to heat up. There's many kinds you can get, but here's one example: link. You might find your co-workers very appreciative you pushed for your office to buy/make room for one; you just have to be happy with the water temperature people settle on, heh. Unless you really want to fight over water temperature. Some water dispensers do hot and cold, does your office have a hot water heater you were unaware of?

I grind the night before i go to work. So basically just boil water and make coffee like everyone esle. (They make instant coffee, pods, etc. i do v60 pour over) Everything pre-weighted. I use those tubes that fit 20g for each day and have them line up for the week.
