My work has free unlimited drip coffee so I just drink that 😅 We get fresh beans weekly from a local roaster, have an OK grinder, and honestly you can't beat the price 😂 That said - I ALSO have an Ikea French press and Hario MSS1 at my desk for those days I want something a bit better (still use the work beans because those are honestly fantastic)

The Breville Luxe is a fine drip machine, and the Mazzer Philos is an outstanding grinder. (I own neither.) I can't imagine a better drip coffee experience. The Philos in fact is certainly overkill. The Niche too is overpriced for your purposes: good but not really for drip coffee. In that price range I would be looking at the Lagom Casa, still overkill for a drip machine.

We have a 200 degree hot water spout on the large drip coffee station. I use it to dispense hot water in my pour over. I use preground beans. It’s not ideal, but much better than a keurig or brewing a pot of drip coffee that I wouldn’t enjoy.
