Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Omg you can make your own iced coffee it’s so easy!

I totally get the feeling! For some reason, iced coffee in a plastic cup really hits the spot 😂 For me, glass straw, glass cup, extra, extra ice, and fancy foams help me scratch that itch. I like my iced coffee extra cold and the fact that I can do extra ice in a big cup makes me happy. At a coffee shop, that would mean I have to place an annoying order or get less ice/coffee, so that works out. Also, I get to add as much foam as I want without shame. lol

Why not both? I genuinely enjoy trying new coffee roasts, so my normal day consists of brewing with my aero press or moka. I genuinely just enjoy tasting and perfecting the brew of new coffee beans. But I also enjoy going to a cafe and trying their seasonal lattes and what not. This isn’t a daily thing — more so once or twice a week. Life is too damn hard not to treat yourself once in a while, but that’s what iced lattes and frappes are for me — they’re treats. You can’t really taste the subtleties of the coffee itself once it’s been covered in milk and sugary syrups, but it’s damn good! It’s also a lot of calories, so I just treat it more like a mid week dessert, and I always get an iced latte when I go to a cafe to get a new bag of coffee. It’s fine to treat black coffee, or whatever it is you make at home, and iced coffee from a cafe as two different things. Learn to enjoy what you’re making yourself for what it is. When I brew at home, I’m not trying to make a cookies and cream frappe. I’m trying to brew as best i can so i can taste the melon or chocolate notes in my coffee. I genuinely enjoy doing it, but i’d be lying if i said i didn’t also enjoy that cookies and cream frappe from the cafe down the street!

You can wash and reuse the plastic cups and straws from a coffee shop. I make my own cold brew at home, throw it in one of those cups and go for a little walk before my meetings. Once a week or so I treat myself to try an actual coffee shop, save the cup from the iced coffee and repeat.

I don’t work from home, and every other week I have to start at a different location than normal. But, I can’t have a beverage (because I have no desk and don’t have a stable place to sit a cup), so those weeks I buy my iced coffee. But! I bring a travel cup the same size as the drink I order, and they are happy to pour the finished drink into my cup. Thus, keeping their plastic cup. I even have my own straw ( reusable of course)
