   I guess there is someone out there that shares what you consider an itch. I thought it was just me but I also see the “ritual” of getting a store bought coffee in the morning and it makes my day better. I also have an espresso and pour over….its just not the same. I’ve also tried to find cups that look like a coffee cup from coffee shops. I don’t know if I was subliminally told that was the way to do it by watching old movies, cop shows, office shows, etc., to have a cup of coffee while you’re doing things to get you going. It’s all mind games. I am still trying my best to find that perfect reusable mug that looks like a coffee cup from a coffee shop. I have found some but they are made so poorly. I’ll keep looking. In the mean time I have been using a thermos and making coffee at home. It’s not the same but it’s been doing it /: wish yall that have that itch luck.

   An Ethiopian by Omnus Coffee Roasters in Sejong City, Korea. The label says “Sidamo Bensa, Bombe, Wine Natural”. Picked it up during a recent trip to see family. I’ve been having *excellent* cups all week. Mostly brewed at about 1:16 into a 12oz thermos to take to the office. First one I took, I opened the lid, and immediately called over a fellow coffee nerd and had her take a whiff. “That smells *so* sweet,” she said. I don’t know if they ship. I think they have a blog on Naver, and they’re on IG and FB. It might be only the one corner shop, too. Pretty sure I happened to meet the owner when I visited. He told me that he bought his shop’s two-group espresso machine used and rehabbed it himself.

   The not fun/serious answer is it just requires discipline, not buying a new thermos to make it exciting. If it helps by all means do it, but at the end of the day you just have to commit to having coffee at home.

   I try to go once a week, sit in a cafe and read my book or people watch, and savour it. Usually near the end of the week, then it's a treat that I look forward to. My daily is still at home, I don't wanna make that kind of experience a routine. Also, I don't pay for coffee in a cafe unless it's in a cup they have to put in the dishwasher after. Paying €3-5 for a to-go coffee is ridiculous when I have a perfectly good setup/thermos at home.

   Reusable takeaway cups and flavour syrups for home made coffee. We haven't had coffee out in literally months. When we do, it's with a meal, but even if we go out for breakfast we usually take coffee with us. Don't get a thermos, get an actual reusable coffee cup.
