   Thank you. We’ve been here 10 years and yeah, we’ve made little improvements here and there. I think feeling like we were close to a big milestone and having that snatched away is where I’m feeling sore. More planning and dreaming is better than nothing, but I think I’ll put that on the back burner for a while lol

   When I was an electrician, we spent the last 30 or so minutes of the day cleaning. I always see people complaining about electricians leaving a mess but I worked for my dad and he was, no exaggeration, the best electrician in Minnesota, and probably the country. We had one custom homes builder we did work for, but if any other custom builders had a really elaborate build for someone, they would get him over their usual guy. Working for him, I learned every bit of attention to details and keeping the job site clean that so many others lack. I joined the military and needed a TS/SCI clearance for my job and for the 10 years I got to put him on my prior employment list, his position was always “God of Electrical Power.” One time one of the agents interviewing me questioned me about that and I said “ask anyone” and they let it go.

   I did exactly that! I picked a really out of harm's way spot in a non-walk in closet. It worked for both cat's remaining years, probably 10 years. I saved the pieces and patched it back together after the cats left for their heavenly reward. Sadly, we can't afford a pet now on fixed income so internet videos will have to do.

   Foundation parging/stucco - Recently had our stairs rebuilt and asked the contractor to quote us on this. It appears our foundation parging is flaking. He mentioned he could do the entire house for $4600 my question is. Does this need to be done before winter in the north east? It’s been like this for at least a year and I don’t know if it needs to be rectified right away. How’d diyable is this? I’ve owned the house for 10 years now. Link to photos
