Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

First talk with your city building and zoning department about this. Bollards will work fine. Install a row of reinforced concrete bollards. 24" diameter or greater, 48" below grade and 36" above grade, as close to the curb as the city will allow. Paint them some bright color that will stand out.

Yes the chimney really is that expensive. Anytime you pass through a wall or ceiling it needs to be what’s called class A chimney for the rest of the run. Class A chimney is a double layer pipe, stainless steel inner and outer. They are either insulated with ceramic insulation in the middle or there are air cooled systems. The air cooled systems tend to be a bit cheaper but are lower quality. I install and service wood stoves and chimneys for a living. It is not uncommon on a new install for the chimney pipe to cost as much or more than the new stove itself. The black pipe you see inside the home running from the stove to the chimney is called connector pipe. That pipe only connects from the stove to the chimney. (In your case the class A) That pipe can be cheap if you get single wall stove pipe. But single wall stove pipe needs to maintain 18” clearance on all sides. Double wall stove pipe is more pricy but reduces the clearances to 9” from combustibles generally. You need to find the manual for the stove and figure out the required clearances to combustibles. Also current IRC code requires any appliance with an ignition source installed in a garage to be a minimum of 18” above the garage floor with protection from vehicle impact when it is below the otherwise required 6-foot clearance zone. So plan on building a raised hearth for the stove to sit on at least 18” high and installing some bollards in front of it. Garage installs usually aren’t worth it imo. This is a project that needs to be done correctly or you’re putting yourself at serious risk of burning your house down. You need to figure out all the details and requirements before beginning. Using the proper chimney and following the proper clearances to combustibles for the stove and the chimney pipe is extremely important.

Boulders, more attractive than bollards or gaurdrails, big boulders can be blended in as a landscape feature
