Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Can’t believe I’m contemplating repainting… - My apartment is in the process of being renovated and is obviously incomplete, and I am not staying there so I know I can’t responsibly make a decision now but I’m stressing…. My apartment is south-facing, 1 bedroom, good light. I chose BM White Dove for ceiling, wall, flush trim (different finishes). My initial take is that it pulls kind of warm in my apartment. Kitchen has an open passthrough and I had cabinets and a shelf built on the living room side. These, inside the kitchen, and in this space, are white, and the lowers in the kitchen are gray with a little bit of blue. Here’s the issue - I’m not liking the contrast between the cabinets and paint. And I’m worried how it’s gonna look with my countertop which is mostly white quartz with a little grey veining. I’m also having this quartz installed on my windowsills. What should I do? How can I make this look better? I don’t know yet why but the cabinets aren’t all the way to the ceiling so there is contrast between the white cabinets and the painted wall above them and on the sides and in some places at the bottom too.

Ceilings too tall for my three step ladder lifestyle 🥺

I put in a custom shower for my master bath with three shower heads. One is a normal high mounted one, we use it 96% of the time. One is a handheld wand mounted at waist height on a side wall compared to the high one. I use it 100% of the time for good undercarriage wash, highly recommended. The final one is a ceiling mounted rainfall head. Maybe used 2 dozen times total, it’s just not as nice in practice as it sounds, because it always runs down the front of your head into your face and eyes because it comes from straight up instead of an angle like a regular shower head. I would do a regular high wall head and a wand mounted lower so it can get low for washing yourself while seated or dogs, etc. When my partner and I shower at the same time we leave the wand on in it’s mount aimed at the person not under the main spray so they can stay warm/wet.

I have standard shower head with a detachable wand, and a rain shower in the center of the ceiling. Plumbed separately for full double pressure. Shower is too small for opposing heads (3'x3' w/ bench) or I would have done that as well. It's amazing. Only drawback is it burns through the whole tank of hot water pretty fast. Should have gone tankless and probably will in the future.

Carry the load to the ceiling above, either directly, or to the grid for appearance, and from the grid to the ceiling. It's not much weight. You don't have to go nuts. Just a little wire and screws.
