Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I had this exact thing happen once and finally figured out that there were actually two GFCI in a row (that is GFCI 1 in the garage was feeding GFCI 2 in the bathroom). My guess is that at some point the house was sold, and the home inspector marked the lack of GFCIs in the bathroom as a defect, so the sellers (or buyers) blindly installed one, not understanding that it was already protected by another GFCI device elsewhere in the house. Check around for another one? Another time, I had a GFCI that would not reset - and turned out that it was protecting a regular outlet on the outside of my house, that had gotten water in it from the neighbor pressure washing their fence (all over my house, but that's a story for another time). After I dried it out, I was able to reset the GFCI and all was well.

I’m in my backyard literally right now and waiting for 6 painters to finish painting my exterior house + garage. They’ve been here a week. Total bill, $8850. And I’m in the NY suburbs

Since you’ve already caulked and primed the wall, I’d focus next on finding where the smoke is getting through. Check around the edges of the shared wall and any penetrations when the smell is strongest. Primer can seal odor trapped in a surface, but it can’t stop air coming through a gap. If you find one in the shared wall or ceiling, make sure it’s sealed without compromising the fire separation. I’d also consider an air purifier wherever the smell is affecting you, whether that’s the garage or a room inside the house, especially if some smoke still gets in after sealing. Cigarette/cigar smoke contains fine particles and odor-causing gases, so look for good particle filtration and a substantial activated-carbon filter with actual carbon granules. That can help reduce what gets into your space and how long the smell lingers, even if you can’t control your neighbour’s smoking.

Crawl space work!! - Before we spend a lot of money will someone please advise if they know anything about crawlspaces/sump pumps? We recently purchased a home in an AE flood zone in Hendersonville nc. Anyone that knows Hendersonville knows it’s mostly all a flood zone😂 the house sits on a crawlspace and has a relatively flat property next to Britton creek. During the catastrophic Helene event however only water entered the crawlspace and garage. There has been no drainage work done previously & the only thing done to the crawlspace is a floor vapor cover. We are having someone come out to discuss drainage, sump pumps, and encapsulation. before we spend a large chunk of our savings do sump pumps actually prevent a house flood? Or a creek overflow? When Helene did hit I believe our property had “water intrusion“ by the creek instead of an actual “flood” the original fence still remains.. the original gas tank… they did replace the hvac and the insulation in the crawlspace however. But the water line from the “flood” seems very low. Any insight is helpful. Pls no hateful comments this was our DREAM home and we took the risk of the flood chance just want to do what we can.

It'll be fine OP. Ideal would be to run the outlet from a different circuit but I wouldn't stress about it in my own home as an electrician. Maybe avoid combustibles in the closet as much as possible or consider hanging it in the garage or laundry room, otherwise send it
