Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Pseudo-steam shower concerns - Hello. DIY'ing (most of) my bathroom remodel. I'm not installing a steam unit. But I am having the shower be completely enclosed with the glass going all the way to the ceiling. The walls and floor will be cultured marble (tyvarian). The ceiling is just green mold & mildew resistant drywall and the ventilation fan is a standard 50 cfm located in the shower ceiling. 1. How much/if any waterproofing should I apply to the ceiling? The cultured marble on the walls(not yet installed) just has greenboard behind it per the contractor's instruction. There is no steam unit in the shower, just the option to not turn off the fan to keep the steam produced by the shower head trapped in the shower. 2. When ventilation is desired, should I rely on gaps in the shower door for air ingress? Or have the glass manufacturer cut a porthole that can be open/closed to allow air ingress? Thanks for any and all advice you can provide!

Okay removing the insulation there are holes for screws. Also yes, the glass does come off

looks like the glass comes off... are those thumbscrews on the side for those 3 steel brackets? they should unscrew and expose the inside.

You may want to seek legal advice on this before implementing a solution. My dad was warned by a lawyer about putting anything next to the road that could potential injure or kill someone by them hitting it. Such as a large brick mailbox built onto a poured footing reinforced with rebar. He basically made sure nothing short of an 18- wheeler was knocking it over. It's my understanding this was illegal since idiots could injure themselves while defacing/destroying it. My dad built it to "deter" the young hoodlums from beating it with a bat after repeated instances on this... we later found a very damaged metal bat & glass in the road nearby. Oddly, never happened again to the neighbors.

I have a spreadsheet of mine. Tools, dump fees, and every little bullshit thing. 10x10 laundry room with a 36x36 corner shower. Total - 8286.35 Tools - 987.93 Biggest expenses were tile, glass, waterproofing and thinset, and vanity in that order. Tile was $1000 for the floor. 850 for the shower Glass was 1600.
