Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Plywood seems unnecessary.

For an unfinished basement "walls" is plywood OK? - I've got a section of my basement that is unfinished so the interior walls are simply the stone foundation. I want to mount some simple shelves and small bins to help organize tools, hardware, etc. and don't want to screw into the foundation. Is it reasonable to just throw up some 2 x 4 studs and make the walls out a basic plywood material? Looks don't matter and I just want to do this as quickly and inexpensively as possible, so drywall seems like overkill. Or maybe the plywood isn't even necessary and I just attach things directly to the studs? Thoughts? TIA

Acting like sistering is difficult. Like someone else said, it’s barely bigger than 1 sheet of plywood. Maybe 6 joists sistered. Short of major piping issues this should be a $500 job. I’d tell him to either give you a realistic price or else come back in a week after you hire someone else to do the subfloor.

Run a plywood across studs and mount to plywood

🤣🤣🤣. Not $3200 worth. This isn't a whole new project. The floors already removed. This isnt a weeks worth of work. Their guys gonna cut out the several square feet of rot. Grab whatever left over pieces of plywood and 2x8 ,2x10 got in his truck, patch it and be done. Even if removes the drywall ceiling from below to patch the joists, it's only half a days project at that. Maybe a full day if he's actually using picking up, and replacing 4x 8 panels of ply and dry. Maybe $100 in mats max, $50 in fuel and the rest labor /profit. For context a bathroom that small you only needs 1 panel OSB($20)and 1 panel drywall($25), and maybe two 2x10's($50) and liquid nails($5) to replace almost the whole subfloor...$100 in mats/$800 labor max/$2300 profit. Glad you got the money to fund those kinds of projects Mr. Money Bags.
