Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

This is why I avoid HOAs at all cost. The benefit with them is they typically keep the neighborhood looking nicer so the value of your home won't go down if the neighbors decide to become packrats or don't take care of their lawn.. and that sounds nice. But then you have older retired people who get bored and their favorite past time is snooping everyone elses property constantly and looking for the most minor infractions. Getting a violation because you have the audacity to have your grass 1/2" too long because you prefer to mow on the weekends rather than after work or taking your trash can out a day early because you're not going to be home the day you need to take it out. Sounds exhausting

The HOA president is an a\*\*hole. He literally drives and/or walks the property and combing through everything he can find to write violations. This unit is one two units in the back. He has absolutely no reason to even be back there. The only ones who will ever see this is would be those living in those units and delivery people.

Yea the below ground drainage can get clogged with debris or even tree roots. You can get them jetted to help, but it likely will come back. Just this year I gave up on the below ground system the previous owners out in and just put gutter extenders on with a splash block. Works fine for my property since we are on a hill and it's easy to direct water away from the house.

Crawl space work!! - Before we spend a lot of money will someone please advise if they know anything about crawlspaces/sump pumps? We recently purchased a home in an AE flood zone in Hendersonville nc. Anyone that knows Hendersonville knows it’s mostly all a flood zone😂 the house sits on a crawlspace and has a relatively flat property next to Britton creek. During the catastrophic Helene event however only water entered the crawlspace and garage. There has been no drainage work done previously & the only thing done to the crawlspace is a floor vapor cover. We are having someone come out to discuss drainage, sump pumps, and encapsulation. before we spend a large chunk of our savings do sump pumps actually prevent a house flood? Or a creek overflow? When Helene did hit I believe our property had “water intrusion“ by the creek instead of an actual “flood” the original fence still remains.. the original gas tank… they did replace the hvac and the insulation in the crawlspace however. But the water line from the “flood” seems very low. Any insight is helpful. Pls no hateful comments this was our DREAM home and we took the risk of the flood chance just want to do what we can.

Gutter Downspout Discharge Ideas - EDIT: Located in Northeastern US. Frost line about 36in deep. I have a downspout coming down the corner of my house off a 30 linear ft gutter. The downspout has never had a good solution at the bottom of it, and right now it just has a 6 foot extension into the side yard for dumping water. This extension is a piece of downspout, not a flexible pipe. (The side yard is about 14 feet wide with my house on one side and my neighbor's 2 ft high block wall on the other, so this extension doesn't even get us half way. This downspout is in the front corner of my home, which is also where my sump pump in the basement is located. I have not had any serious water issues in the basement (fingers crossed), but the only times I've ever seen an ounce of moisture, it's been a small puddle in this corner under torrential rain. (The sump has a pvc pipe that takes everything along the side of the house to the back, so that's not a factor here). I'm thinking about adding a cleanout on the downspout followed by a pipe that goes underground and takes the water the full 14 feet away from the home to the property line, and then turns rearward and discharges alongside my neighbor's block wall. The property naturally slopes from front to back, so the water would only end up in the backyard away from everything anyway. I've thought about integrating the front downspout with the same pvc that the sump pump discharge uses, which again is already running along the side of the house and out the back of the property, but then I'd have to integrate another downspout in the rear corner and I feel that two downspouts plus a sump pump discharge would be a lot of water discharging to one place, even if it's beyond the structure and into the backyard. The area gets no sun, so my shrub options are limited and I don't think they would drink nearly enough to allow me to feel comfortable relying on them as my primary solution. Any solutions I'm missing or not considering? Also, any products you would highly recommend or conversely insist on staying away from? I would really like to take care of this once and for all. I'm very handy but primary do cabinetry and built-ins.
