Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I have had so much trouble with ballast compatibility even with smart ballasts. I have one fixture with a smart ballast that will light and run when you twist the bulbs won't re light after turning off and on by the switch. I started replacing the fixtures with dedicated LED units.

  2. Comment

You'd have to run wire from the fixture to the switch or maybe from the fixture to the box for the old fixture the switch used to control if that wiring is still intact. The switch being there isn't making the job easier, if there's another location you'd want the switch it would be more or less the same, it all depends on how accessible the areas are to run new wire.

Question on wiring garage exterior light fixture to interior switch - Hi Everyone, I’m wondering how feasible it is to connect an exterior garage light to a switch that is not being used. If you can imagine, the original light switch was for outdoor patio lighting. The previous owners turned that area to a 4 seasons room so what light was used is no longer there. What we have is a nearby exterior light off of the garage. The switch is on the other side of the kitchen/dining room. I would guess the distance between the two is about 10-12 feet. What kind of issues would I possibly have?

  4. Comment

Best guess is the light switch circuit is wired in some wrong manner and has 2 hot wires connected together when you throw the switch.. And before the 2 hot wires were on the same leg (so wiring is wrong, but the breaker does not trip) and now has 2 hots on separate legs causing the breaker to trip. Does it always trip the same breaker or does it sometimes trip a different breaker? If so this is a existing wiring issue and the old install was not exposing the wiring issue because both circuits being connected when the switch was thrown were on the same leg.

  5. Comment

He didn't. He just switched the box over. He had me go around and flip light switches to check everything, and I thought I flipped that one too but maybe I didn't. When I called they said that it might just be a coincidence that the switch stopped working right after the new panel was installed
