   The quartz remnant with sink was ~$700 installed. I was actually quite satisfied with this, as I mentioned elsewhere the corner here was not square so it's actually cut to an angle so an off the shelf option would have fit oddly. That price was pretty consistent with everything we found locally. The vanity was around $1500 custom built with our needs in mind. Two deep drawers fit all our stuff. this is obviously more expensive that something from a big box store but was cheaper than the vanities we could see at our local Ferguson showrooms, and those were made in Vietnam so we would have been paying for shipping and tarrifs. I didn't get quotes from multiple cabinet makers, I just liked this guy's style and went with him.

   Have you chosen the Vanity, faucets, fixtures, and lighting for the bathroom? I spent weeks reviewing sources and specialty fixture showrooms, then bought everything before I asked for bids. Unless the Contractor is willing to see whether he can buy them without marking them up too much. You need a detailed list, not vanity and faucets. What brand, size, and style? Cost of quartz countertop fabrication, faucets, and door handles. Shower hardware is all over the place: $400- $ 2,500. Call and get a third estimate, and ask for a detailed breakdown of materials and costs, and how they handle unknown water-damage costs. Then use that estimate to call contractor one back to revise his estimate to fit your better-defined materials and specs list

   Unnecessarily high end. None of these choices look “high end” compared to just nice tile/vanity.
