Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

My manager will approve something, and then, after it's built, will make changes. I do it and collect my paycheck.

I used to feel this way about my manager and their reviews as well - feedback seemed nitpicky and tedious. I would recommend having a meeting with your director to get aligned on best design practices as a practical solution for you. Asking them for additional training resources into design practices could be another one. You may be surprised to find how much more you can elevate your work from "good and has the information".

Work with managers and require cameras on. Include it in the invite as well. If they refuse, usually it’s because they are sick or something and will message you. Just helps create a “pay attention/interactive” environment. I also ask does anyone have any questions fairly a lot. Even if they say no, it shows them it’s a space that welcomes questions. Also I don’t like polls, I can never answer them fast enough and gives the impression your running through the presentation.

Doctorates aren't well-suited to going out and getting a jobs as an ID. As a hiring manager I'll take someone with experience before a doctorate all day every day. I have a Masters and am in a manager position over 2 IDs and 2 L&D Specialist roles (LMS administration, facilitation, and orientation coordination). I have been in L&D for 23 years. Since becoming a hiring manager, most of the people I have hired have ended up being former teachers, BUT, I do generally require they have some other experience in-between and they need to have experience with Rise and other similar products. The ones who haven't have started in a coordinator position before moving up.

I did video production for a health system for almost a decade. Extremely cush job when I had it but I wouldn’t say you could have a career that progresses, at least where I was. They fired my manager and moved us into HR reporting to the director of HR and then eventually moved us over to IT. I personally only left cause the salary wasn’t comparable to a traditional ID.
