I think that with AI already decreasing our contracts in tech and corporate- it is a matter of months before the trickle down effect hits an academia. I would not go into this field right now if I was just starting.

My company had a huge project where we rebuilt all our Flash interactions in Storyline. It was months and months of work, because some of them were extremely complex.

Oh man I spent months rebuilding Flash courses into Storyline for one client. So tedious. AND they didn’t have the source files so I was building them using just the SWFs as reference. They’re probably on a CD-ROM somewhere

Depends on the space. I'm from corporate and there's been some reductions, as it takes fewer days/weeks/months to build any content. Careers are leaning more onto learning program management rather than design.

For the love of God no, HR only knows how to mess up process and procedures. And if you try and ask for help you'll be waiting months while they discuss it in a committee.
