Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Odd it even came, but I guess rules vary by state. Im in Oregon. When her doc diagnosed her as 'unfit to drive' and he had her license canceled. I recieved it in the mail, and an application to convert it to just a state ID

Respectfully, I disagree with the geriatric doc saying not to give her the meds. At this point, how good is her memory? And there are other meds that can be used to sedate her that might not be so harmful to her memory. Low dose of antipsychotics are usually prescribed here in the US to help sedate the patient a bit, and maybe combine it with an antidepressant to make her a little more happy. Speak with the doc and see if there is anything they can do. Please stop listening to your grandfather and either take control or leave the situation. Your mom will have to take over and possibly quit her job. You need to take a break at least and take care of your own health. And try not to sacrifice too much sleep, spend less time taking care or your grandma and more time taking care of yourself. I know its easy to say, I sometimes also put my dad ahead of my own health. But your grandma seems to be very late stage and at this point, idk if its worth it to keep abusing yourself like this. I hope you take some advice from this community, best of luck. 🙏❤️

In my opinion, the aggressiveness is just not acceptable. I work in a hospital and when they send me to do an X-ray on an aggressive patient I simply tell the doc that this patient is too aggressive and they need to be sedated. Tell the geriatric doc that you need to increase the dose because shes still way too aggressive, and make it urgent. If they dont want to increase the dose then plz take her to the ER. Your grandma would have never wanted to be like this, she would want to be in a more sedated state where she cant hurt anyone. As far as the dirty stuff, I couldnt handle it. I would put my dad in a memory care if he started doing that. Thankfully I make him wear the incontinence underwear, and once you are able to get your grandma under control with some better meds, she can start to wear that too. The screams can be draining, i cant stand it either when my dad is cursing and yelling non stop. Their mind is suffering and only the meds can help put them at ease. She definitely needs a nurse or an aide at the very least. Her insurance should be able to cover it, your grandpa is not in any position to be refusing help, otherwise leave him to take care of her. I know you are at your limit, you cant keep doing this. I know too well the feeling when you dont have time to eat or shower, its abuse on yourself. Your welcome and im going through the same but I am getting some help so its not as bad as your situation. Sending prayers your way. 🙏❤️

Im so sorry your going through all of this. Im the same age and going through it as well, I do have a little help from my mom though. You absolutely 100% need help. My dad is not to the point that your grandma is at, but im shocked that its gotten that far. Do you give her any meds? She desperately needs the meds, its not right to have her in that condition. My dad was also cursing and screaming alot and extremely paranoid and ive been giving him seroquel as a sedative and im going to ask the doc to give him some zoloft soon as well. Your family needs to help you, im surpised you even lasted this long. My dad started going crazy for just 3 weeks and I needed a week off. At this point you might have to take her to the ER to get the right meds that she needs. You can make appointments and go the outpatient route, but that will take longer and you have had enough. Please get some help from your family, they are useless because they havent been forced to help. Demand help and take her to the ER, your grandpa is not the one taking care of her, you are. You are being abused right now, its bad for your health, ive already lost weight and developed major anxiety. You are probably doing worse than me. Best of luck, message me anytime if you need some advice. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you so much for telling me, ive seen the commercials for this medication. My doc prescribed seroquel which is a similar medication but it sounds like rexulti works better. Does your LO take anything else like an antidepressant? I keep seeing on Google that rexulti works best in combination with another drug like antidepressants.
