Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I’m so sorry that you’ve lost your dad, but happy that he got to have a peaceful end and that you were able to say goodbye. Be gentle with yourself in the coming weeks and months—give yourself space to grieve.

Yeah my great grandmother had dementia when I was in my teens and I remember how it was with her and I just roll with the repeat conversations, they generally don't bother or annoy me. My main worry is that the bills are getting paid on time and such as she is the one in control of that - not me, I am just someone she is subletting to and I pay her board, essentially. My main thing is that she is happy and doing the important things that need to be done like paying bills, but she seems to be suffering from some mild agoraphobia whilst also wanting to get out and about more (which I think will be healthy for her).

Disassociate techniques - New to community. Hate I’m here but happy a community like this exists🩷 Does anyone have some actual disassociation techniques that work when you witness a loved one sundown. No one told me what sundowning REALLY entitles. I’ve heard they get “confused” before witnessing it. I’ve been seeing it for two years and still mentally spiral. I can’t cry in front of my mom when she thinks I’m someone else or stealing her money or Maybe stripping and walking around naked ….. How the hell do I get thru this for her

Not heartless at all. 🫶 happy you are looking into further help through Hospice. My mother has ALZ but is in mid phase, so I just want to add to the topic of difficulty with walking. Even in mid phases, my mom has trouble walking after spending too much time in bed.
