Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

If you both have Medicare, look into Solace Health. They provide care coordinators covered by Medicare. I found it a few months ago and it has been a lifeline. The first resource that has actually helped and not tried to fleece us in our hour of need. They will help you navigate these early days and give you a human who sees what you are dealing with and gives you grace. I wish I knew anout it sooner. Just trying to get my dad appointments has sucked the life out of me. Now I cam mostly hand it off.

Dear god, I hope you are a bot. Or that this ragebait. If you aren't, take a walk outside your gated community every once in a while or, you know, educate yourself. So many people, including boomers, are suffering. Not because they are bad people or they drink too much coffee or whatever triviality you want to list, but because the cost of private long term care is shocking. \[My LO's monthly care bill for assisted living and then memory care is more than my spouse and my's monthly income. And we're upper middle class for our community!\] Medicare does not cover care. Medicaid does, only if the couple turns over or uses all of its resources, essentially bankrupting the healthier spouse. Also, many of these medicaid facilities are just awful. This isn't a generational blame game. It's a structural problem.

Kamala had a plan to help with expanding Medicare to cover in-home caregiving, but voters didn't care.

It would be extraordinarily expensive and people don’t want to pay more taxes Medicare already accounts for 14% of the federal budget and what it covers for dementia care is woefully insufficient

Seeing you are paid in reais do you live in Brazil? I am an American and took care of my spouse during Alzheimer's but was able to get hospice to help and there were support groups that really helped. You must try to get this kind of help in your country. The peeing everywhere can be stopped by having her wear suspenders on her diapers so she needs help to get them off. Bungee cords help secure places dangerous for her to go in the house or out the door and get lost, a doctor's prescription for 0.25mg 3 a day risperidone tablets helped with anger management, pushing etc, Hospice nurses came to do bed baths and a doctor came to check every once in a while. A hospital bed rental was paid for by medicare God bless you. You must check out resources or you will really burn out!!
