Tretinoin made a huge difference for me as well. When I started perimenopause a few years ago, my acne came back with a vengeance and it wasn't until I started tretinoin that I had any success. I will use a benzoyl peroxide wash when I get the odd pimple, but that's about it.

I used benzoyl peroxide for like 15 years before trying tretinoin and azelaic acid this year. It was the only thing that worked for me. I got mine from a company called acne.org and just used it once a day after cleansing and letting it dry before any other products.

Tretinoin microspheres 1%, Azelaic acid 15%, and 25-50 mgs Spironolactone prescriptions. Fond of the Prequel milk peel, lactic acid and urea for KP/chicken skin.

Lion Pair cream. It really dries my blemishes overnight, I love it. Not for acne prone skin, tho; you might need a tretinoin for severe cases like what I had before taking isotretinoin
