Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

7 players. I've played 2. 3. 4 and 5 somewhat. Oddly enough, very often 6. Sometimes 8. But 7? Damn, never got to play that way.

Try Veiled Fate at 6 or even 8 players. Normally you're on your own at 1-5 player count, but at 6 you have to play in teams and you don't know who your teammate is until the end of the game. It's a social deduction game with a lot of strategic elements in it such as blind voting.

Spirit island, with the jagged earth expansion can play 6 and it’s a great co op

Five is perfect for BSG and other hidden-team games, because 2/5 lets the baddies conspire and throw suspicion off themselves (and one another), but gives a player count advantage to the "goodies". The sympathizer mechanic in the base game is... not ideal, so even numbered player counts are not recommended, and 7 players means turns take forever and you can't contribute to most checks, so there's not as much to do off-turn. I find that most games with sequential play suffer at higher player counts because the your-turn/opponents-turn ratio diminishes swiftly and people lose focus. That said, I've played Eclipse with 6 a couple of times and it was amazing; haven't got there yet with Eclipse II, and I have heard that there are board layouts for >6 that I haven't tried and would absolutely love to.

At the public gamenight i go to some people think im a jerk because i turn people away even if i have a game set up that could take more players. But just because it could doesnt mean it should. Id like to move onto a second game at some point tonight. And Id like to relax a bit, teaching two people sushi go is fine, teaching 6 is now a task.
