I'll check it out, but i dont think i can rid myself of the others since each one is special, aside from avalon that can be replaced by werewolf. As for root, I can't even get rid of it after buying for 100$ lol no one would buy it even at half the price, i have to find a way to play it more, its a nice game.

I used to like teaching, but not any more. It's become a CHORE especially as I have gotten older and attention spans have reduced due to smart phones. I end up teaching the same people the rules over and over. Answering the same questions every turn over and over. People always pass me their cards and ask if they can play it or what it does, when the answer is in plain language on the card itself. I even make player aids, with flow charts, and all kinds of things to help. No one ever reads them. They just asl me directly. It's gotten to point where teaching games has actively ruined my love of the hobby. These days I don't teach any more. I will sit them down and watch a how to play YouTube video for them.

What does "mastered" mean to you? Many very deep games have no discernable skill ceiling. These often become tournament games. For example, no one has become so skilled at Brass Birmingham that there isn't more they can learn or optimize.
