Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

Agree that Command of Nature is mediocre. I bought it for my daughter several years ago because she enjoys *Here to Slay* (even though I don't care for it) and I think we only played it once in full.

I would say it’s more complex than Wingspan, but not that much more, and definitely not like Ark Nova. There arent a lot of rules, but you have a lot of options for what you can do, which can be a bit overwhelming (I've only played it once so far). Btw, I love that you still play with your dad and that he’s still into trying new games at his age! Edit: some of the rules were confusing at the beginning. It helped that my friends explained them to me.

I tried to buy games that all of us would play - they sat on the shelf for over 10 years. Each kid ended up preferring different types of games, so there were very few that everyone would agree to play. Now that they are out of school and no more running for extracurriculars, I have a gaming group that is pretty much willing to bring anything I bring so I can at least say it was played once. 🤣

Given my current preferences, I’d have to say Kanban EV or The Gallerist, since I’m inclined to pay attention to other players more in those two. When I was most into euro-y combos, I was split more between On Mars and Lisboa. I think once you get past the gaming stage of “complexity = quality”, you see some of his earlier designs tend to have each player’s “interconnected puzzle” actually mingle a bit with each other. His newer designs have definitely made the puzzles harder, but they largely function in isolation. I’m inclined to revisit Escape Plan, I’ve only played it once but it may be more inline with what I enjoy nowadays.

I've only played Burgle Bros once. Indeed, was fun.
