Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

You don’t need graph paper for this at all. Just blank paper. And I’ve never seen this as a racing game. We would use this method to play golf. We’d draw out a whole course. +1 penalty for landing in traps our rough. Just had to flick through the hole to score, you didn’t have to land right in it

Never played it as a racing game. In elementary school my friends and I would draw tanks and planes on paper and then use the pencil push technique to fire bullets at each other. EDIT TO ADD: The concept showed up on mobile as Lead Wars, though I have no idea if it's still compatible with current operating systems.

Tbh, there’s not much depth but the mechanics merge so nicely with the theme and the control that you need is so much like you are driving (I mean as close it can get in a board game). All other racing games I played had some element of luck determining a major aspect (like Rallyman), which is not how real car racing works, whereas Heat is all about control (well I guess there is the luck of draw but you can decide what to play and what to keep and when to play them for accelerating or cornering). Very tactical game.

**Magical Athlete** for something extremely dumb and silly. Just add your points with your partner’s at the end of the game. Just be warned. This game is random and goofy. But very fun. Not extremely strategic though. You could do the same with **Heat Pedal to the Metal** if you want a more serious medium weight racing game. Feels great with 6p, and again you could add you and your partner’s podium points at the end of a race (or championship series). Might be some interesting strategic blocking and drafting opportunities too. Probably my favorite racing game of all time. Timing moves pretty quick since everyone plans their turn simultaneously, then moves their cars one at a time from the front to the back of the pack. A game like **Cartographers** could work well 2v2v2, seated exactly 3 seats away from your partner. You occasionally get to mess up your neighbor’s boards on either side of you, so you’d have an enemy from each team to your left and right. Again, sum you and your partners’ scores at the end of the game. The game shouldn’t take more than 50-75m total, regardless of player count.
