Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

It's fine. I own both, I (very slightly) prefer Chinatown, but some people much prefer WP because of the theme. Pressure can be a little higher in Chinatown, but Waterfall Park is also a good game that is all negotiation, all the time, and can give slightly more opportunities to play three-way negotiations where you pit one opponent against the other to trade with you, which is fun.

What do you mean “no” ? You wrote that people are shallow if theme attracts them.

Buy the Chinese version (currently on sale on eBay for $45 or AliExpress for $65). Then print out the English rulebook. The parts are the same. The only issue would be the rulebook. I find it ironic that the Zman games changed the theme because they thought it had some offensive Asian themed artwork, but it's super popular in China.

All of Cole Wehrle’s games are like this. Root is still his stand out, but as mentioned before, a steep learning curve. Arcs has potential, but tough theme for some people. My group is a fan of Pax Pamir, this was a challenging theme but very rewarding game play. Oath is also very polarizing - very rewarding, but that learning curve is a right angle for most. As a human who will play anything, I find it challenging to get my group over the ‘Cole’ bump. His games are very intrinsic and major rules can be missed easily. A heavy system like Lacerda’s game are equally as complicated, but are layered into the system more.

I've owned Chinatown for a long time and it has a 100% perfect track record. The one game of WP we played made no positive impression whatsoever on the group. I think because the theme made no sense the guys just never really engaged, and it was over before anything interesting happened. I'm glad you enjoy it but it certainly qualified it as bad, by my measure.
