Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

What games are better BECAUSE everyone argues about whether a move counts? - Some of my favorite times playing board games with my friends aren't about who wins. I like the 2-minute debates over whether something counts in the game (we've made like 10 inside jokes stemming from specific rulings). A few examples: * Is that Codenames clue technically two words or one? * Are we going to allow that Scrabble word even if it's technically in the dictionary? * For UNO, can you stack +2s? In some games this kinda takes away from the game night and kills the mood. In others, the arguing *is* one of the funnest aspects of the night/the game. What games do this best for you? And where's the line between a fun debate and one that ruins the night?

  2. Comment

Card games in general. I recommend games with immediately accessible vibes and mechanics but not lowest common denominator. Spicy replaces Uno, for example. I also recommend carcassone because it’s very accessible and competitive. I don’t like coup (I prefer spicy or sheriff) but it’s cheap and popular and not bad. Other uno replacements are linko and Jungo and DNUP and scout and cabanga. Paperback and word craft are good word games. Five tribes is supposed to be mancala like but I haven’t tried it myself

  3. Post

New to Board Games, what are some slightly more complex games I could try with 3 players? - My group and I regularly play Scrabble, Uno, Mahjong, but we kinda grew tired of these games. What are some more complex games we could get into, that are still somewhat popular and fun?

  4. Comment

Around age 3 started learning to play card games like uno, crazy apes, slap jack, regular game Pop the pig, attention span wasn't ready for candyland/trouble etc. And even the card games were sometimes walked away from before finishing.

  5. Comment

Around 3 for #1 with my first Castle panic. 6 now and we regularly play board games and Pokémon tcg. #2 is 2 and plays uno with us and started them on my fiewt Castle Panic.
