Each point is a seven-day rolling window of complete UTC days; a point is comparable only when at least 100 analyzed posts or comments fall inside it. A day with no analyzed records counts as zero; missing coverage is marked and never shown as zero. The series ends at the latest complete analyzed day — it never extends into the current incomplete day. How attention is measured.

I dunno man, I know it’s a different model but my 2016 base WRX was unbeatable in autocross.

I owned a stripped down 2016 base model that I bought new off the lot and I had a blast with it for 3 years. No heated seats and weak stereo eventually got old and I bought a loaded 335i but for the money, you can’t beat it if you’re looking for a fun 4 door that’s great in the snow.

I bought a 2016 Focus ST last week to be my winter fun / dog car when I put away the Mustang for the winter. Also have a Lexus GS, '96 F150, '02 4Runner and a Subaru because I live in New England and it's a requirement. Own my own home - buy my cars with cash. Never really considered an electric car, maybe someday. AMA

2016 Subaru WRX. My first new car I bought after college. I drove it for 3 years then sold it to get an ss camaro. I have my first child being born soon and I miss that car. Not only was it obviously more practical and better in the snow it handled so much better than the camaro. At the time I just wanted to go fast. Now I have a little girl on the way headed into winter with an ss camaro on semi slicks. I have other options in the winter lol but damn if I dont miss that car.

I disagree that most new cars are worse. Especially with the rollout of Toyota's hybrid system, which is mechanically simpler than almost any other transmission, and doesn't have any "achilles heels". As far as interior quality, I also haven't noticed major issues with newer cars. My 2023 Genesis has a single part that creaks while everything else is quiet and sturdy, which is a bit better than my 2015 Genesis sedan. I rented a base 2026 Camry and appreciated almost everything besides the seat comfort and menu layouts. The NVH, interior materials, screens, and speakers are much improved compared to a 2016 model. I think this is an area where capitalism is serving its purpose and making car companies compete to make cars more upscale and comfortable at the same prices. If you want to look at single generation improvements, the difference between a Kia Forte and K4 is immense, as well as the 10th and 11th Honda Civics.
