As an American I’ve found it interesting that there have been a number of stories of British celebrities getting hammered for what appear to be extremely minor traffic violations. Over here in freedom town our celebrities go 120 in a 30 and drive through a McDonalds while on fb live and get community service that somehow is satisfied with charity photo ops. Edit: I guess my point is im disappointed in British celebrities. They need to up their game. 68 in a 50 is mild enough to get you tailgated in my morning commute.

20 has become the standard speed limit in suburban zones in Greater London. People still do 30.

It's just clear, 30 is the limit, if you go over you get a ticket. Some police forces have a discretionary margin, you often hear 10% + 2 or some nonsense, but that's completely discretionary, 31 in a 30 is enough for a ticket.
