   Yeah I know. No one goes to Jail for speeding in the UK I mean, unless it's like 150 in a 70 Id much rather lose my license for 2 years than have a jail sentence on my public record

   70 in the left lane in Chicago drives me nuts. 80-85 is the norm round these parts. There are idiots that want to go 100 though. Construction is unrelated. Its always there so we tend to completely ignore it.

   My first time re-visiting Chicago in 10 years, I'm on the interstates in the suburbs. It's a 45 construction zone. Traffic was light, I was doing 70 since I wasn't in a hurry. I like to drive fast, sure, but 25 over is pretty big, especially in a construction zone. I know the city, I know how traffic flow liked to work so I felt totally safe but - still. Then I started getting passed by semi trucks. The left lane fast movers were probably getting close to 100. I was one of the slowest people on the road, even at speeds approaching where a cop would write you for reckless. Wild.
