   Well it's 85 in the left lane until you come across someone merging and not speeding up past 60 or you try and get over after passing but a clapped out nissan altima is blowing by, switching two lanes, and weaving between. I try to keep up with traffic if not a little faster since setting cruise is just a dream at that point. I do love people visiting from out of town and comment on it while we're going 10 under than the left two lanes at times while going 20 over already.

   yeah 15 over is pretty much the standard in the NE. He'll have had cops pass me when i was doing 85.

   Yeah that was my experience with the autobahn. It's cool you can cruise at 120 mph but you quickly realize most people out there are driving at about 80 to 85 at most, as that time saved isn't worth getting only 15 mpg unless you're so rich money doesn't matter. Especially with gas costing $8+ a gallon. Even here in the states, I wouldn't bother going more than about 85 because fuel economy drops so rapidly for marginal time savings of 5-10 minutes.
