They're supposedly phasing it out by 2028, but we'll see if that happens. As of now all models supposedly have it based on what google tells me. I'm not opposed to other smartphone integration concepts if they're done well - there are enough people rolling around in Teslas for me to believe there are other ways to do it aside from carplay/android auto.

Carplay/android auto has been available in even most stripped out rental base models. Sure there are some companies like Tesla that want you in their own ecosystem instead, but the majority of them have it, That said, these days heated seats are available relatively far down the trim hierarchy in most models - usually the only way you miss them is getting a true base model, but those are hard to find anyway.

Android Auto is easily replaced by my phone and a good quality mount. Nothing substitutes for some good heated seats when it's 5 degrees outside, you just walked 20 minutes to the parking lot, and you forgot to bring a hat and gloves with you that morning.
